My father passed away this afternoon. I have no words.....I didn't know pain like this could exist. My heart is broken......

He made me an offer I couldn't refuse.......
And what was that offer, you ask?
This week, presumably because of Valentines Day, the photo category in the 52 week challenge was "red".
I wish I had taken a picture of His face when I told Him the category....that sinister, toppy grin that instantly gave away His thoughts on the matter. As I expected, He "generously" offered to give me a hand (ha ha) getting the perfect picture.
I, of course, thanked Him profusely for His kind offer, but reminded Him that such a picture would hardly be appropriate enough that I could share it on social media for friends and family to see.
And so, a counter-offer was made, and negotiations ensued.
He did indeed give me a hand.
And I did, in fact, end up "red".
(And very happy!) :)

P.S. These are photos of a local lighthouse for the challenge, taken on a day when the actual temperature outside was -17 degrees (before windchill). All in all, I was outside for over a half an hour in the freezing cold, and snapped dozens of pictures of the lighthouse from all angles. These are the two I thought were the best. :)
