9/10th

Its our 9/10th anniversary (nine years married, ten years together)! :) :) I can't believe its been nine years since our wedding day--it feels like it was just yesterday :) I don't have words to describe how very happy I am--to have found someone who understands and accepts me with all of my faults and craziness, who loves me so freely and completely, is truly the greatest gift I have ever been given in my life. <3

Inked!

I promised in the last post that fun things were coming up, and so this is the first. As a late birthday/early anniversary present (for myself) I finally went and got my first tattoo. The design is one I've had for years, I always knew this would be my first whenever I decided to actually do it. My husband first used the moniker "Acedecade"  when He made an email account for himself as a teenager and He has kept it since then, just as I have always used sugar. This year, we are celebrating our first decade together, and I have just entered my third decade of life, so it seemed like the perfect time for this design. :)

My tattoo artist was amazing! It took three long hours of work (with only one 5 minute break) to get every last detail and he nailed it!! As you can see in the picture there is ALOT of bruising (the areas inside that look like ink has spilled over the lines are really blue bruises). This picture was taken just a few hours after the tattoo was done, and the bruising actually got a little worse after this. I'm now at 48 hours, and its starting to hurt slightly less than it did yesterday :)  Despite that, I am more than thrilled, it was absolutely worth it to finally have this done! :)

Ace loves it (its His mark after all!), and so do I! :) :)

Seventy Questions..

Its been a while since I posted anything, summer's been busy and I'm working more. Saw this list over on Hermione's blog and decided to play along. :) Another planned post coming up soon, but for now:

1. Would you have sex with the last person you text messaged? Lead guitarist/stage manager for one of Ace's favorite bands.....he's a happily married man with two kids, so no. :)
2. Opinions on sex before marriage? Quoting from a favorite movie of mine "If you love someone, its okay."
3. Best room for a fireplace? Just about any room is good for a fireplace, love them. 
4. Is trust a big issue for you? Its a very important part of any relationship.  
5. Did you hang out with the person you like recently? The person I love. 
6. What are you excited about? Fun stuff coming up this week. :)
7. What happened last night? Watched local primary election results trickle in, so very very happy with the results. 
8. Ever have plastic surgery? No.
9. Which are better - black or green olives? Both are equally disgusting. 

10. What is the last beverage you had? Water.

11. Ever won a contest? I'm sure I must have, but I can't think of any examples right now. 
12. Do you own a pair of skinny jeans? HA!
13. What are you gonna do Saturday night? I don't know yet.....
14. What are you going to spend money on next? Bills
15. Are you going out with the last person you kissed? I'm married to Him. 
16. Do you think you’ll change in the next 3 months? Yup. 
17. Can you swim well? Pretty well. 
18. Can you hold your breath without holding your nose? Um, yeah......
19. Have you had sex today? No. 
20. Regularly burn incense? No. 

21. Are you in a good mood? Yes! My candidate took a decisive win in the primary! :) 
22. Would you ever want to swim with sharks? No.
23. Ever take dance lessons? Nope. 
24. What do you want right this second? To convince Ace to go to Michigan Paracon. :)
25. Is your current hair color your natural hair color? Yes. 
26. Hot tea or cold tea? Neither.

28. What was the last thing that made you laugh? My daughter. 
29. Do you really, truly miss someone right now? My dad.

31. Favorite type of cookie? The oatmeal/walnut/chocolate chip ones my neighbor brought to a bonfire the other night....so good!

34. Listening to? Some butterfly song my daughter is dancing to. :)
35. Do you ever write in pencil anymore? In pen, typically.

39. Do you study better with or without music? Without. 
40. Why did you kiss the last person you kissed? Good morning kisses :)

41. When was the last time you ate a cupcake? A few weeks ago. 
42. Who would you like to see in concert? A few people.....
43. What was the last concert you saw? Ace's favorite band.
44. Do you tan in the nude? No, I don't actively tan at all, just what happens naturally outside. 
45. Are you patient? Depends on who I'm dealing with. 
46. Did you talk to someone until you fell asleep last night? No. 
47. Who was the last person to call you? My sister. 
48. Do you sing in the shower? Not usually. 
49. Ever embarrass yourself in front of a crush?  Yes, I'm guessing most people have. 
50. Ever used a bow and arrow? Yup, but never on an animal. 

51. Last time you got a portrait taken by a photographer? High school graduation.
52. Do you think musicals are cheesy? Most are pretty good, but there are exceptions. 
53. Is Christmas stressful? Depends...some years its been more stressful than others. 
54. Ever eat a pierogi? I have, didn't really care for it. 
55. Favorite type of fruit pie? Apple.
56. Occupations you wanted to be when you were a kid? Lawyer, author, psychologist.
57. Do you believe in ghosts? Kinda....
58. Ever been in love? Yup, and I still am!
59. Take a vitamin daily? Not currently. 
60. Wear slippers? Sometimes. 

61. Wear a bath robe? Not usually.
62. What do you wear to bed? Pajama pants and a soft shirt. 
63. First concert? I first sang in concerts with my family when I was four.
64. Walmart, Target or Kmart? Depends on what I am looking for or need. 
65. Nike or Adidas? Adidas.
66. Cheetos or Fritos? Neither. 
67. Peanuts or sunflower seeds? Sunflower seeds. 
68. Ever won a spelling bee? Not any important ones.
69. Have you ever cried because you were so happy? Yes. 
70. What is your favorite book? There's no way to choose a favorite....pretty much love anything that isn't a romance, western, or horror......
